Wind Or No Wind Board Jam
Aaron and I have been at CWC in the Philippines for a few days now. It’s been a total sweet trip with the goal to rock it at the Wind Or No Wind Board Jam…This is a cross-over event between kiteboarding and wakeboarding.
It’s cool because all the riders get to ride all the time no matter the conditions.
They’ve got the sickest set up of rails over here and there’s an awesome crew around.
Mauricio Abreu, one of the pioneers of kiteboarding who had always been shredding hard and pushing our sport in the right direction is in charge and organized all of this.
The crew comes from all over the world and it’s funny to see, it’s a blend of two generations of kiteboarders.
We’ve got the ‘’older’’ guys and the ‘’new’’ guys here, but we all share the same vision on the sport.
The future looks bright for kiteboarding and we’ve got the right ingredients and contacts to make shit happen.
Kiteboarding is still young for sure, so everything on it’s time…
Although I can’t wait for it to blow up and have people really understand what it’s all about.

Anyways, we’re enjoying our time in the Philippines for sure. We’re filming some funny stories for On The Loose and exploring the area a bit.
Susi Mai is also with us again, she’s been in the Philippines for like 3weeks already doing like a girls kiteboarding camp in Boracay and places around.
She went a bit big over the kicker and hurt her knee a bit. So let’s hope she’ll get up and riding again soon.
For now she can chill with me as my ankle’s kinda screwed which I’m super bummed about.
Look on the bright side, it makes my perforated eardrum look like a small deal.
Will keep ya up to date and hopefully get some footage to you soon. ☺
The opening party was pretty dope last night and we’re going to get up to some fun shit this week.

cool!wish i could go there right now.if you got time.check out bagasbas beach, camarines norte philippines about 2 hrs from naga.it usually is windier there and there is a long strech of beach to launch kites and good surf also 3 lagoons for flat water riding.plus i think there would be a competition from dec 14-18.cheers
