On Tour
Blisters in paradise!!
The Wind Or No Wind Board Jam, basically the most fun and legit event I’ve been to. And we haven’t even been kiteboarding yet, but we’ve got loads and lots of riding in.
Got some nice blisters on my hand now…Had the best day yesterday riding the cable for like 50 laps in one run during my morning sesh.
It was sooooo good to get out and ride, had to ignore my ankle and perforated eardrum, it was worth it.
We’ve had some epic fun go down, we were able to all have a session behind the boat which was quite fun.
I haven’t ridden a boat in like over a year, tried my first railey behind the boat and had some fun.
Aaron had a pretty mental sesh and tried two backmobes, almost succeeding as well.
Mike Ennen, pro-wakeboarder gave us a bit of a show down…Was good to see and learn from.
After the boat sesh the whole crew got divided in teams and we did a race through the obstacle course which they’ve got in the water.
Some fun shit went down, big inflatables in the water to climb on, run on and jump of.
The day got topped of by a sick John Wayne Poker Night! J Winner takes half, the rest goes to John Wayne Cancer Foundation.
It was my first ever poker game and I really enjoyed it. It was a sweet set-up in the Happy Ending Bar and it got pretty messy!
The day before we got a taste of the local life in the Philippines, Susi, Azza and me went into the ‘’bush’’ behind CWC were a big family lives.
They’ve got the farm right there and it was a bit of a trip, but they made us some local food which we tried out.
People here are amazing, super nice and friendly, always smiling…Good vibes!!
Aight, I got to get to the beach which is a 40min drive and apparently they’ve got a sick set-up waiting for us.
We hope for some wind, but otherwise they’ve got a Sesitec System 2.0 and a rail running for us there.
Sweeeet…Ankle’s sore but will take care of that when I get home.
Peace!
