Still knocking and rocking in SA!

Here’s another episode of On The Loose in Cape Town.
My freaking gear got stolen out of my car, everything gone…
Around 15.000 Euro’s of shit gone, gone and more gone!! :S

Stupid they stole my gear, there’s Red Bull and Mystic all over that Fuel.
I hope they choked on it or somebody choked them for it!!
But I had all my gear set to my favorite settings, especially my bar I put a wholo lot of loving in…and to get that back I had to tune in some new gear.
I’m a bit clumsy with that stuff so Slingshot’s one and only Amery Bernard aka ‘Dirty Hippie’ helped me out once again…

We’ll also show you some Cape Town scenery…
Aaron will head to Langebaan with Ryan Gaw to capture the last sesh in SA for this trip.

I learned a lot in the last few months and this will help me to get my shit together better and better.

So keep on watching and supporting, then we’ll be able to grow bigger.

I’m On The Loose and ready to capture new shit.

The hand that rocks the cable… Wake style!

Episode 5 is all about wake style. We visited the awesome South African National Wakeboard at Blue Rock. Hard core cable action with the best riders made us work a little harder!..

It is the first time the event is held here and a lot international riders joined us here.

Yo yo yo… Here we goooo!!

In this episode we give you a little behind the scenes vibe from a photoshoot we did with Craig Kolesky. We’ve been working with Craig in South Africa for the past four years or so…

It’s cool working with him, whenever we feel like a big session we just give him a ring and he’ll be there!!
These shots are for the website and some sponsor catalogue.

We also captured amazing days at Dolphin Beach, this is one of my favorite spots near Cape Town.
The wind’s pretty clean there, the waves roll in nicely and you can just hit it full gas.
Aaron and I will wait until the afternoon when the sunset sets in, the wind’s the strongest then.
And it just gives an epic feeling when it’s all orange/goldish.

It’s only gonna get better from here!?

We’re already at episode 3 of On The Loose.
We see Gianni Aragno from Spain having a session with us.
I saw Gianni for the first time in 2003, he amazed me by his unbelievable style and way of riding…

He did many competitions over the years, but the last four years he didn’t ride at all.

He was a dj and focusing on some other stuff.

Now he’s back and it’s just good to see him motivated to ride.
Hopefully he will stick with us this year and push himself again.

Also we have Aaron throwing in a session with us at Witsands.

The Pro-X games in the middle of Cape Town were fun, some hot chicks and sports.

At the end we have a b-day party on the beach from my mate Graham, it was fun for sure! Until the cops showed up!

Rocking with the King!!

Meeting up, spending time and sharing things with Aaron Hadlow. That’s part of what I’ve been doing for the past 8yrs. Aaron’s parents had a house in South Africa so he spent quite a bit of time out there…He knows the place so well, this time he took us to one of his favorite spots, Witsands.

It’s an amazing flat water spot 3.5hr drive out of Cape Town. Roadtripping is a nice feeling, especially in a good car. Gheghe!

Blasting Cape Town, bring it on!

Coming home from one month Australia was nice, but I only had four days to chill with my friends and family. I had to pack all my stuff to leave on a 3 month trip to Cape Town, South Africa…I’ve spent the past four winters in Cape Town and really love the lifestyle and kiteboarding conditions over there.

It’s a good start, I’m psyching and waiting for more action.
